2 Hours (100MB)
This is the lowest plan in the MTN hourly Data subscription category. It has a data Validity of 2 hours, and a lifespan validity of 24 hours with a data cap of 100MB. This means you can only browse for 2 hours within 24 hours of the time of your subscription. This plan works on all devices (Android, PC, MAC, Windows Phone and BB10). 20 Hours (1.5GB)
If you need something more than the 2 hours data plan, then MTN 20 hours data plan is your closest option. It has a data validity of 20 hours, and it’s lifespan validity is 7 days with a data cap of 1.5 GB (1500MB). This plan is perfect is for those who are very busy and do not want long time commitments. 100 Hours (3GB)
This is an upgrade to the MTN 20 hours data plan. With 3GB of data cap and 100 hours and 30 days validity, this plan is good for those who want to stick to the hourly plans which is pay as you use. The turn off of this plan is the 3GB data cap at the rate of ₦5000, this seems high considering other monthly data options available. This plan works on all devices (Android, PC, MAC, Windows Phone and BB10).

300 Hours (10GB)
This is the biggest among the MTN simple surf category. It offers good browsing time of 300 hours and in addition comes with 10GB of data cap, that is more than enough for an average internet user. This plan has a validity of 90 days, meaning you can enjoy your data 300hrs withing a period of 3 months. So if you are the type that is always on the road, you have little to worry as your internet data plan awaits you for up to 3 months. This plan costs ₦13,000.

MTN Daily Data Plans
The MTN daily plans are flexible subscription data plans are mainly for low end devices users who who need their devices for light browsing or for light social media usage like whatsapp, facebook lite, bbm, opera mini and other less data consuming activities. If you are the type with an high end device, then don’t even think of going for this plans because your data will be consumed before you even start to use it. The MTN daily plans works on all devices.

30MB (₦100)
This plan is meant for only those who need quick internet access for urgent purposes and who at the same time uses a low end device. This is because an high end device will zap the whole of this data withing 5 minutes due to updates and processes that run in the background on high end devices and PC. MTN Weekly Data Plans
MTN over the time have kept on changing the data allocation of their weekly plans. When the plan was lauched about 3 years ago, the MTN weekly data bundle offers 25MB for ₦500, that was ridiculous right? Well I think MTN thought so too, some months after, MTN increased the Weekly data plan data allocation to 150MB for the same ₦500 naira. Impressive? well I don’t think so because even when you browse with data compressed browsers like Opera mini or the UC web, you might likely still exhaust the allocated 150MB in few days when you are on a 3G service.
Thanks to the stiff competition among Nigeria’s data service providers, MTN have finally launched a more friendly weekly data plan, this plan offers 750MB for Five hundred Naira Only.

MTN Weekly data plan offers you both affordable data bundle and also a long 7 days validity for as low as ₦500. This plan is perfect for those who want to stay in between the daily and monthly plans. This subscription plan offers you 750MB that will be perfect for any smartphone or pc. It works perfectly on all devices.

MTN Monthly Data Plans
The monthly data plans are the most popular data plans on the MTN network. They offers ranges of data bundles at different rates and for different internet users. And many internet users in Nigeria always prefer to go for the Monthly data subscription plans because it gives them a good time range for renewals and these plans also offers good bargains for money.
The MTN monthly data plans are the first set of plans to be launched in Nigeria, and even though plans were not too friendly back then, allocating data ranging from just 500MB for one month to 3GB, and prices ranging from ₦3000 to ₦7,500.

Are you a night surfer? if yes then this is definitely for you. The MTN night data plans offers the most interesting data packages you’ll ever find on the network right now. Who would have thought that MTN will give out 500MB for as low as ₦25, YES twenty five naira! I couldn’t believe this myself, and it doesn’t just end there, there are other interesting MTN data plans for the late night surfers. They include the 1GB for ₦200, 2.5GB for ₦500 and then my favorite, 5GB for only ₦1000.

This data bundle gives you a one night validity period
The first limitation of this plan is that you must be on the MTN Pulse plan to be able to enjoy this particular data offer. To migrate to MTN Pulse, simply dial *406# on your MTN line and you’ll be automatically migrated for FREE.
And the second barrier to this data plans is that you can only subscribe once per sim per night. So if you want to enjoy 1GB of data in one night at ₦50, you need two MTN sim cards. And if you want more than that, you need to get more sim cards.
